How to have an abundance of Time

Any successful business takes up your time so you need great time management. If you don’t manage your time well other important aspects of your life or business will fail. When we say that we really don’t have the time to do what we want to do, that’s simply is not true!!!

Here is Why

  1. Time is a choice, if you change your language from ” I don’t have time” to “this is not my priority”; you will have a clearer understanding of where you choose to prioritize your time. “It’s not what we say is a priority, but what we actually DO that’s a priority.” J.D Roth .
  2. Create a mental log of how you prioritize your time. If you say you would love to spend more time with your children but you spend all your time working or watching Netflix; SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR KIDS IS NOT YOUR PRIORITY…working or watching TV is your priority. Looking at what you spend time doing will help shift your perspective into the quality time you want and doing what’s important.undefined
  3. Set an intention for the day. Create a day of quality by looking at your life’s values and prioritizing your day around that. My life’s values are love, clarity and financial abundance…(in that order). Love and clarity look like spending time praying and laughing with my family in a clean home.
  4. DO NOT multitask. Multitasking to get more done is a misconception. It causes anxiety and brain damage…google it and see. When you multitask you are not giving 100% focus on what you are doing. Completing one task at a time is MORE productive because you are more present, which is healthier for the brain. Being Present is quality time with less anxiety, fewer mistakes, a feeling of fulfillment and MORE efficiency.

ACTION STEPS:

We all have Time…an abundance of time because we all have 24hours in a day. Not having time is a belief, not a fact.

  • This is awesome advice Jaja! I’ve also read the book called “The One Thing” and it’s got great advice to focus on the one thing that matters most.

You might find it a great read as well.

    Cheers,
    Suzanne

    • Thank you so Suzzane. I’ll definitely look that book up!… I refer to articles from time to time when I feel overwhelmed with work/life imbalance…sometimes I forget my own advice🤣

I wrote this for myself and decided to share it because it works so I really appreciate your feedback!🙏

  • Great advice Jaja. Like Suzanne I have read the one thing too. That is about priority and not multitasking but I didn’t realise it would give you brain damage. I know I make more progress when I do one thing at a time.

    • Haha, I didn’t realize this either “brain damage ‘ sounded dramatic until I did my research but experimented with the concept and found that I was alot more affective when did one thing at a time. Thank you so much for your thoughts. This is a new website so I appreciate your comment
